About Me

 My name is Jenny Davies and I am a professional editor and writer with two distinctly different sides to my business.

On one side, I use my extensive background in insurance and financial services, along with my editorial training, to turn all the complex, jargon-filled information that we must share with our clients into something that can be easily understood by all. I feel that with the right editing, we can make our industry more accessible and less confusing for all of our clients.

On the other side, I use my passion for reading and writing to edit works of fiction, both novels and short stories, specializing in the genres of Romance, Science Fiction, Fantasy and Young Adult.  I have been a bibliophile for as long as I can remember and my love for all things literary led me to turn my passion for editing and writing into a career.

I have a passion for editing and writing, which was developed through a love of reading from a very young age. I have recently completed my Editing Certificate through Simon Fraser University.  I have experience editing and writing professional documents (primarily related to the insurance industry) as well as experience editing and writing for non-profit organizations, primarily The Optimist Club of Regina and Kinsmen Cobra Cheerleading.  I am proud to be an Editors Canada member.
